My heart felt the itch to express my gratitude towards the people working in the graduation event so badly that i gotta write them down. i'm bad with words, i don't know how to start, but i guess i'll give it a go, so this is it.
To the committees that dealt with us,
Dr. Farhan Yeo, been looking through the videos with kinn and saw the moments we missed out while busy making memories for you guys, we find that you were really supportive towards us, and you gave us the confidence to be even better in our work despite the fatigue everyone is in. so Thank you very much for believing in us, giving us the chance to be your graduation photogs, asking us whether everything is in perfect tune, e.g lighting, positioning.. and ensuring us everything goes well. Thank You.
Dr Lee Tjen Jhung, we want to say thank you to you as well, for choosing us as your official photogs. and despite being busy dealing with the event, you still come over to ask me whether everything is fine. and yes, everything is top notch. so Thank You for believing in us as well. We can't promise to satisfy everyone in the graduation shots, but we believe that we can give you our best production. you have our word. Thank you very much!
Dr. Shashi Indran Naidu, you have proven yourself to be very efficient in dealing with us, settling the problems we had during last minute. we know that you believe in us, and thus we will do our best to give you the finest shot we got. Thank you for letting us test out the location a day before, ensuring everything is under control and well planned; helping us to deal with the russian faculty, and believing in us financially as well. we appreciate your effort in giving us a chance to prove ourselves as pro photogs even though we aren't really professional. so Thank you very much. we feel much obliged to make sure you get the best out of us!
Dr Loh Ui lyn, thank you for doing the arrangement of passing us all the names and emails for the grads, as well as being one of them, to believe in our work. we couldn't be more thankful for ur decision within the community. on the day we dealt with the photog issues, you present yourself as a very reasonable and easy going person to work with tho it was just a small meeting. so thank you once again. be prepared to get a set of satisfying freeze frames from us. we promise. =)
Last but not least, to my dearest Dr Ang Hui Min, thank you isn't enough to express how much i feel towards all your effort to help us in ways i cant have enough words to tell. eg, you reminded us things we ought to bear in mind but forget, you were our ambassador between the committees, you defended our rights, you believed in us, and me. before i start to get mushy mushy here, i'll say, Thank You dear.
And to all the graduates of 2011, Thank you very much once again for not having prejudice at us as freelance photogs. We hope that you guys would understand we have put in as much effort as you guys did in the graduation day, as well as a limited crew team to deal with 200+ people. Nevertheless, we want to make it memorable in a visual sense for you guys, even though it might just be only a picture, but they will someday remind you the day you finally finished med school and put on a M.D title. We believe we did our best, tired ourselves out till the last bit of energy, just to see you people nod and say, it's a good picture. Thank you once again for the opportunity.
As for the video i've said to make for the event or some people, i am terribly sorry if i couldn't make anything beautiful out of it, just captured some scenes of the event. i didn't realize that by just taking 200+ students of pictures would worn me out. but i will still do a compilation of all the little memories of the clips i have to tell a little part of the graduation story u guys had. we just watched a clip that was left on for the whole groupshot run, and it was a tearjerker. As they say, picture speaks thousand words, thus video speaks millions. so stay tune.
Finally, Congratulations for completing one of the toughest undergrad course, wearing the new title of Doctors. so they say, it's the beginning of the end, it's a whole new life after this. Your saving hands will be a blessing to the people. So i encourage those that dream to save lives, don't be put off by the medical system, by the working politics and sleepless shifts, it might initially be discouraging but till the end, they make us a better doctor. look at me, a 4th year giving encouragements, so belittle of me. haha, anyways, be gone with the wind and save lives. May God bless us all.
p/s: I want to say, thank you to be two partners, Kinn, and Kien, Thank you so much for working side by side along the way. the trust we built along the years till today, the things we share, the friendship we have, are the little things to make this crew function well. we covered the whole shooting with our bare little hands and heavy 5Ds. Goodjob peeps. can't wait for another tagteam. and now, back to processing the 128gbs of raw. XD
Thank You.
